I K Stippenroos pijpenmaker

Stippenroos I / K pijpenmaker ± 1710 - 1740

In de eerste helft van de 18e eeuw zijn in West-Nederland pijpen gemaakt met links een stippenroos van acht stippen met centraal de letter 'I' en rechts een stippenroos van acht stippen met centraal de letter 'K'. Het productiecentrum en de pijpenmaker zijn helaas nog onbekend.

During the first half of the 18th century, pipes were manufactured in West-Netherlands that displayed an eight-dot rosette with a central 'I' on the left, and an eight-dot rosette with a central 'K' on the right. Regrettably, the production center and the identity of the pipe maker remain unconfirmed.
